“I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do”

The Mamma Mia lyric seemed fitting as we had 4 fabulous weddings this week (plus one to grow on)! As per usual it was a crazy week at Enchanted. We had stunning weddings, a super 60th Birthday party, and a Las Vegas Wedding Network event. Although a crazy week, it was nothing the fairies couldn’t handle! This week is also shaping up to be a beautiful chaos with 9 events including the Latin Grammys, 4 weddings, and more! Everything remains in high gear at EFI and the brilliance and creativity astounds me every week.  Now it is time to recap all of the funky and fabulous of last week…

Las Vegas Wedding Network: Wedding Wire’s (http://www.weddingwire.com/) Chief Marketing Officer, Sonny Ganguly,  came to Aliante Station (http://www.aliantecasinohotel.com/)  last Wednesday to discuss going mobile, new technology, and social media. Wedding professionals throughout the Valley were able to come and learn about the changing and ever expanding wedding industry thanks to the great event organized by the Las Vegas Wedding Network (http://lasvegasweddingnetwork.org/). The EFI Events team was festively Fall with these fabulous Autumn inspired martini centerpieces.

Blakely/Alcock: Trisha Blakely and James Alcock said I do at Emerald at Queensridge (http://emeraldatqueensridge.com/) on Friday. Not only did Las Vegas bundle up due to a drop in temperature this weekend, Trisha created her own Winter Wonderland with icy blue florals and crystal snowflakes. The white roses, blue orchids, and rhinestone accents gave a fabulously frozen flare to then entire event. Trisha’s mother created a special locket for the bride’s bouquet as a sentimental touch. The bridesmaid’s bouquets had mini rhinestone snowflakes as well. So many details were considered to make this chilly theme part of a truly warm and romantic event.

Gordon 60th: Friday was certainly busy! On Friday night Staten Island at New York, New York (http://www.newyorknewyork.com/), well the Vegas version of NYC, was the backdrop for Paul Gordon to  blow 60 candles out on his birthday cake! A fabulous oriental themed centerpiece with horsetail bamboo and a splash of color in safflowers made for something out of the ordinary! It was such a pleasure to work with Michelle Lettieri of ARK Vegas (http://www.arkvegas.com/).

Sabalone/Hernandez: Gina Sabalone and Michael Hernandez danced the night away at Green Valley Ranch (http://www.greenvalleyranchresort.com/) this Saturday night to celebrate getting hitched!  Good Vibrations Mobile DJ’s (http://www.goodvibrationsdjs.com/) were on hand to keep the party going. Kara Ledbetter and her team at GVR along with Christie and the crew at CLM Weddings (http://www.clmweddings.com/) put together a spectacular evening. Not a moment will be forgotten thanks to the brilliant Ricky and John of Memory Lane Video (http://www.mlvnv.com/), the amazingly talented Trish and Jared with The Black Chicken Photography (http://theblackchicken.com/), and the always fun Todd with Shutterbooth Las Vegas (http://shutterbooth.com/las-vegas/)! The bridal party was glowing and gorgeous thanks to Megan Payne and Make Up in the 702 (http://www.lasvegaswedding-makeup.com/). The stunning shades of red and yellow had a warm flare inside to the contrast the cool weather outside. The roses, dahlias, ranunculus, and hypericum came together beautifully to create stunning bouquets, bouts, and centerpieces.

Brown/Salerno: Kim Brown and Christian Salerno were married last Saturday at Aliante Station (http://www.aliantecasinohotel.com/). Lush shades of chartreuse were blending with neutral tones of taupe and brown for a unique vibe. The spider mums and hypericum gave the bouquets and bouts a feel of fun and whimsy while sticking with the vintage rustic theme. The burlap and twine bouquet wraps fit with the motif to a “T”.  A funky way to add a little something different to your traditional bout is to add a bit of horsetail bamboo, a perfect combination of the fun, fresh, and rustic.

Briare/Wieser: Our Lady of Las Vegas (http://www.edline.net/pages/OLLV) and Red Rock Country Club (http://www.redrockcountryclub.com/) were the venues chosen for Krista and Joe’s Wedding this past Saturday night. Las Vegas Custom Cakes (http://www.lasvegascustomcakes.com/) created a truly delectable treat and J & J Photography (http://www.jandjphotos.com/) was on hand to capture every moment of the big day! The Music Solution (http://musicsolutions.weebly.com/) kept guests on their feet as they partied for hours. The rich shades of aubergine, apricot, and ivory looked splendid in Krista’s schwartz, white, and mango calla lily bouquet. The bridesmaid’s bouquets of orange roses were the perfect compliment to the clean and fresh feel of the event.

Anddddd…… SCENE!  Another week over and another one begins. So many rich Autumn colors and fun florals are flying out of the shop. For every Thanksgiving centerpiece we sell we will be donating one Thanksgiving dinner to the Las Vegas City Mission. Get your orders in early! Also this Friday is Veterans Day, EFI has gourmet baskets, stunning plants, and beautiful floral arrangements to send to the veterans in your life. Well the Monday recap is complete, if you are somewhere where you can enjoy the fabulous Fall foliage please do, the citizens of Las Vegas will be bundled up in Sin City Winter Chic as the temperatures have already dropped. Please leave any comments or thoughts on the blog, I LOVE to know what you think! Have an excellent week!!
