November is halfway over, I still can’t believe it! After the crazy rush of 11/11/11 weddings in both our events and dailies departments we are now gearing up for Thanksgiving!
Nothing shows off turkey and mashed potatoes like a centerpiece from Enchanted Florist. Place your order today for one of our exquisite fall centerpieces. We have leaves, pumpkins, and more to create a warm autumn feel in the Vegas desert. There are also fun centerpieces with great pops of colors, a fun option is to highlight the colors already in your linens or china, make your dining room super jazzy! For every centerpiece ordered we will donate one Thanksgiving Dinner to the Las Vegas Christian Mission, so make sure you order!
Now for the event recap, we had weddings, a fabulous NACE installation, as well as the 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. The fairies were fabulous! Every detail was perfection, each event was magnificent!
Latin Grammy Awards: Fuego! Caliente! Latin Grammys! This past Thursday the Mandalay Bay Convention Center(http://www.mandalaybay.com/conventions/meeting-exhibition-spaces/) hosted the 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards (http://www.latingrammy.com/). Shakira may have been the night’s big winner, but the décor from Enchanted Florist was the star of the show! The “blinged out” 7-Up lounge was the piece de resistance of the day! Crystals, crystals, and more crystals decked the room out! So much fun working with the team at Mandalay Bay and the fabulous Melissa Rodriguez of Eventus (http://www.eventusmarketing.com/)!
NACE: Stunning shades of red and orange gave the 2011 Las Vegas NACE (http://lasvegasnace.net/index.php) Installation and Awards Gala Dinner some sizzle! Cili Restaurant (http://www.cili.com/) at Bali Hai Golf Club (http://www.balihaigolfclub.com/) hosted the best and brightest stars of the Vegas Hospitality and Catering industry to honor Richard Harper the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at MGM Resorts International (http://www.mgmresorts.com/) . The yellow calla lilies, red roses, blue dendrobium and orange mokara orchids created stunning centerpieces. Safflower, hanging amaranthus, roses, orchids, and calla lilies were part of the most spectacular chandeliers. The entire evening was fabulous from the first cocktail to the last bid at the silent auction!
Art in All Forms at InsideStyle Home Design Group: This week InsideStyle Home (http://www.insidestylehome.com/) had the grand opening of their new design space in the Arts District. The event was attended by local artists including our very own Kathryn Null as well as Jessica Galindo, Brett Wesley, and Chef Erik Perkins along with others were on hand to ensure the art was truly in all forms and that the evening was a smashing success!
Fugate/Ferrigno: Roses are red, roses are white, Tami and Rafael’s guests partied all through the night! On 11/11/11, the red, black, and white theme was so classy and romantic. The Artisan Boutique Hotel (http://artisanhotel.com/) was the perfect location for this couple to say I do. Lily grass loops and accents were a fun touch to the bouquets and bouts.
Rock and Roll Wedding: The luckiest day of the century, 11/11/11, was the perfect time for a completely amazing wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (http://www.hardrockhotel.com/). As always it was fabulous working with Erin Ward and her team on a fantastic full day affair. From the rocking ceremony (guitar altar pieces included!!) to the brunch and guests finished their day with a fabulous dinner to celebrate this happy occasion. The amazing birds of paradise, black baccarra, Schwartz callas, giant ruby paper weights, and kilted groomsmen added so much fun to this marvelous event! The dedicated planning clearly paid off, as guests had the time of their lives!
Campbell/Marotti: Stacey Cook and her team at Ravella Lake Las Vegas (http://www.ravellavegas.com/) on Saturday night worked with us to create the perfect scene for Ashlee and Joe’s wedding. The stunning shades of aubergine, ivory, orange, and crimson were the perfect autumn blend for the stunning florals. Mokara orchids, Picasso callas, Dahlia, and Circus roses were elegant and breathtaking. The fun and fabulous Chris and Alicia of Orange Soda Photography (http://www.orangesodaphoto.com/) were on hand to capture every moment!
