Summer Flowers and Tips on Sending Flowers Cross Country

Hi there!  All of us at Enchanted Florist are ready for all that summer brings.  Things like Back yard BBQ’s, swim parties, lemonade, sunscreen, and especial the summer flowers.

In Las Vegas summer is the time of hot weather. Floral growth is the best in the summer season for most of The Northern hemisphere except if you live in a rain shadow like us here in the Las Vegas Valley.   For Las Vegas it is the hottest and driest part of the year.  So at Enchanted Florist we recommend keeping your floral arrangements indoors, out of the sun and always filled with fresh water.

The following is a list of some of the summer’s best flowers:

Allium, Alstromeria, Amaranthus, Bird of Paradise, Calla lily,  Chrysanthemum, Cockscomb, Cosmos, Dahlia, Delphinium, , Foxglove, Freesia, Genista, Ginger, Gladiolus, Hallaconia, Heather, Hydrangea, Hypericum, Iris, Kangaroo paw, Liatrus, Lilac, Casa Blanca Lily, Gloriosa Lily, Star Gazer, Lisianthus.

There are two ways to send someone some of these fabulous summer flowers.  Fist you can use goggle, yahoo, Locate-A-Flower-Shope.com, yelp.com, or yellowpages.com to find a florist in there zip code.  Always check to see if they have any reviews, then verify that they are a local shop and not just an online website. Then decide on what you want to send or at least have an idea of the flowers and style.    If that seems like a lot of work let your local shop do it for you!  Building a relationship with the flower shop around the corner from you will be the best way for you to ensure that you are satisfied with your flower sending experience.  Here at Enchanted Florist we love to find the best flowers in town and the best florist in other places for our customers. Our website www.lasvegasfloral.com has the capability for our customers to order on line but we always love talking to our customers so calling (702-731-2656) to order is always welcome.
